Lhoist partner with Air Liquide for Carbon capture project

Lhiost is partnering with Air Liquide to launch a first-of-its-kind decarbonisation project of lime production in France. As part of this project, Air Liquide would build and operate a Cryocap™ FG (Flue Gas) unit to capture and purify 95 per cent of the CO 2 arising from Lhoist’s production unit in Réty. Vicat has posted a 12.4 per cent uptick at constant scope and exchange rates in 1Q22 consolidated sales to EUR789m when compared with the equivalent year-ago period. The reported YoY change was 11.6 per cent. The company saw solid sales growth in all regions and higher selling prices. Hoffmann Green signs supply contract with Groupe Duret Immobilier

Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies announced that it has signed a three-year partnership agreement with the Groupe Duret Immobilier. Building material producer SigmaRoc plc has announced its audited results for the year ended 31 December 2021 with turnover more than doubling to GBP272m and underlying EBITDA rising to GBP49.3m. Lafarge France invests EUR46m to reduce carbon emissions

To produce cements with a reduced carbon impact in its plants in Saint-Pierre-la-Cour (Mayenne) and Bouc-Bel-Air (Bouches-du-Rhône), Lafarge France (Holcim group) will invest EUR46m. These investments are part of the group-wide strategy to accelerate green growth. Cementir 's regional markets results for 2021 produced increasing revenues in all markets. The highest revenues outside of Italy were recorded in Belgium and France. LafargeHolcim Le Havre site up for sale

Installed in 1969 along the canal in the industrial port area of Le Havre, the former LafargeHolcim cement plant is being dismantled. The plant had been converted in 2016 to a centre for grinding imported clinker. A call for expression of interest has been launched by Haropa port to find a buyer for the 24.3ha site. Deadline for applications is 11 March 2022, with a possible award scheduled during the summer.
