All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA) released dispatch figures for August 2021 with a positive note that the cement sector posted growth of 22.8 per cent in August 2021 by dispatching 4.336Mt when compared with 3.531Mt during the same month of the previous fiscal year. The overall output of the Large-Scale Manufacturing Industries Index (LSMI) in Pakistan increased by 14.9 per cent for July 2020-June 2021 compared to July 2019-June 2020, including local cement production, FBS estimated. Cherat Cement sees turnover rise 47% YoY

Pakistan's Cherat Cement Co has posted a profit of PKR3.21bn (US$19.29m) for the financial year ended 30 June 2021, according to a bourse filing. The company had recorded a loss of INR1.89bn for the FY19-20. Net turnover also advanced 47 per cent YoY to INR25.21bn in the FY20-21, compared to INR17.09bn in the previous year.

Pakistan-based Lucky Cement Ltd reported a consolidated profit after tax of PKR28.23bn (US$172.46m) against PKR 7.1317bn in the previous fiscal year.
