Dragon Products to stop Rockland rail terminal shipments20 August 2021, Published under Cement NewsFrom next year, USA-based Dragon Products plans to stop shipping cement along the Rockland South End rail line in favour of selling cement from the plant in trucks and shipping cement by rail directly to its customers. Fiji: clinker shipment unloaded for Pacific Cement Ltd13 April 2017, Published under Cement NewsThe vessel MV Festival, carrying 24,000t of clinker for Pacific Cement Ltd, has reached Lami Town, Fiji. The method of discharge has been changed due to a High Court ruling, meaning trucks must now be loaded in a barge and the clinker unloaded into the trucks onboard said barge. As this process takes longer than the previous method, the vessel’s crew had to apply for visa extensions, which were approved.
