This is the fifth cargo exported since 21 March 2019, the start of the Iranian year. To date, 104,000t of clinker have been exported from Qeshm to the UAE. Newly appointed head of PT Semen Indonesia, Rizkan Chandra has said that he wants to raise the company’s sales outside of Indonesia from 5.2 per cent of revenue in 2015 to 10-15 per cent over the next three years. The projects include a cement terminal in Duqm port, Oman, which will also see the construction of two silos with a capacity of 4000t.
