Holcim has reported a raiding attempt on its Russian assets, according to Kommersant daily and RIA Novosti. Unidentified people have filed documents with the Federal Tax Service to change the structure of the legal entities owned by Holcim. Andrew Keating leaves CRH

Andrew Keating, previously director of group finance at CRH, has left the company. The former Bank of Ireland chief financial officer joined the building materials company three years ago, reporting to Jim Mintern. Mr Keating reportedly left CRH at the end of June this year to pursue other opportunities, reports The Irish Times. 

Cementir's revenue totals EUR805m in the 1H22

Cementir's  revenues from sales and services reached EUR805.2m (US$821.7m), an increase of 21.2 per cent compared to EUR664.5m in the 1H21. Vicat reported a 12.5 per cent increase in first-half sales to EUR1755m (US$1790.6m) in the January-June 2022 period when compared with the 1H21, when sales reached EUR1560m. Saudi Arabian cement producer Yanbu Cement Co reported a 24.5 per cent fall in its net profits after zakat and tax to SAR86.97m (US$23.2m) when compared with the 1H21, when the company achieved profits of SAR115.23m. Holcim reports on record results in 1H22

Holcim has reported record sales on CHF14,681m (US$15,273m) in the first half of 2022, marking a 16.9 per cent increase YoY, driven by sales growth in all segments.
