Ramco Cements enhances Kolimigundla clinker capacity

Taiwan Cement completes share agreement for Denizli Çimento

Taiwan Cement Corp  has finalised its agreement with OYAK Çimento to acquire a further 20 per cent stake in Denizli Çimento ,Turkey. According to Reuters this will boost Taiwan Cement's share in the company to 60 per cent. The preliminiary Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the deal was signed in November this year. Reuters has assigned Denizli Çimento a total enterprise value of US$1.42bn. 

South Africa regulator recalls Econo Cement product

Saint-Gobain has signed a renewable electricity supply agreement (power purchase agreement or PPA) with CVE, an independent French renewable energy producer, to secure about 140GWh of solar electricity in South Africa, over a 20-year period. Shree Cement is reportedly planning to bid for lithium mining rights in Jammu and Kashmir, as part of the company’s venture into the mining sector.
