UNTHA waste shredder in operation for Geocycle Argentina

An UNTHA XR3000C mobile shredder is now in operation at Geocycle’s co-processing facility in Córdoba, Argentina. Geocycle (LafargeHolcim group) is now transforming 100tpd of waste into a high-grade alternative fuel for use within the company’s cement kiln only 5km away. GE Renewable Energy and Veolia sign turbine blade recycle agreement

GE Renewable Energy has signed a multi-year agreement with Veolia North America (VNA) to recycle blades removed from its US-based onshore wind turbines during upgrades and repowering efforts. Through this agreement, GE plans to recycle the majority of blades that are replaced during repowering efforts. MIIT raises old-capacity elimination levels in China to enable new capacity projects

China has unveiled stricter draft rules for new cement plants, increasing the amount of old capacity that producers need to retire as they propose new capacity. Brevik plant's CCS investment approved by Norwegian parliament

The Norwegian parliament has approved the investment in a full-scale carbon capture facility at the HeidelbergCement Norcem plant in Brevik, Norway.
