ScanTogo and CimBénin (HeidelbergCement group) have donated EUR39,636 to support a project for the Sustainable Management of Biodiversity in the Mono Transboundary Biosphere Reserve, on the border of Benin and Togo. BBVA Mexico has formalised a sustainable credit for MXN2.2bn (US$88.7m) over a five-year term to Cooperativa La Cruz Azul. Tyre burning project for Caribbean Cement put on hold

The coronavirus pandemic has halted a key project for Caribbean Cement Co to remove and incinerate between 1.5-2m tyres from the Riverton City landfill. The Swiss Federal Department of the Environment has published a review of the country’s air protection ordinance, in which it plans to lower the limit values for NO x by more than half – from 500 to 200mg/m 3 .
