The scheme was the first of its kind in the cement industry and aimed to recover as many as possible of the 250,000 Cemex pallets distributed annually to about 600 different builders merchant outlets. Comment period for Castle Hayne plant extended, US07 October 2009, Published under Cement NewsThe state Division of Air Quality is extending the comment period for the public to voice its opinion on Titan America’s draft air permit for a cement plant in Castle Hayne. The period has been extended from October 30th to November 20th. The state issued a draft air permit for the project last month. Two more public meetings are scheduled for October 20th. They are at the BB&T Auditorium at Cape Fear Community College’s North Campus. |
