A pair of public hearings is scheduled for Tuesday on the state’s draft air permit for the proposed Carolina’s Cement Plant. The Division of Air Quality released its draft permit last month. Castle Cement Limited, which ran the works in Padeswood, Flintshire, has admitted four of seven charges brought by Environment Agency Wales.
