The greenfield Djebel Ressas plant is the first project to be completed after the Arab Spring. According to a statement by Ekon, the plant has exceeded design figures in terms of production capacity and product quality while achieving less emissions. |

FLSmidth swings to full-year loss, Denmark14 February 2014, Published under Cement NewsFLSmidth reported its first full-year net loss for over a decade and saw cement orders fall by 26 per cent despite a strong increase in the final quarter. The Denmark-based equipment supplier reported a net loss of DKK784m (US$143.9m) for last year compared with a net profit of DKK1.3bn in 2012.
