Ali Hussein, the city mayor, has held a meeting with a number of German investors in the presence of several businessmen from the city to examine the possibility of establishing a cement factory within the municipality. Pakistan: FWO seeks approval for new plant in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa24 February 2017, Published under Cement NewsAccording to reports in the Daily Times, the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) is seeking approval from the Pakistani government to establish a new plant in the Haripur area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Vietnam: order for FLSmidth28 June 2016, Published under Cement NewsVietnamese cement producer Tan Thang Cement have awarded FLSmidth a contract for the supply of main equipment to a greenfield plant in the country. The Engineering and Procurement contract is valued at approximately DKK255m (US$37.9m). The new 5000tpd plant will be located in the Nghe An province, 300km south of Hanoi. The scope of supply includes all the main equipment, from raw mill grinding to clinker silo, as well as civil design, coal mill installation, training and commissioning. |
