Egypt to cancel El Wadi Cement licence over delays

Egypt’s licensing committee has decided to cancel El Wadi Cement’s production licence over start-up delays, and is reviewing four other licences, the head of the Industrial Development Authority said on Sunday. Namibia: European bank to fund Ohorongo Cement

The European Investment Bank (EIB) this week agreed to provide €82m (about N$906m) for the construction and operation of the Ohorongo cement factory located 435km north of Namibia’s capital Windhoek, the EIB said on its website.
