Wellington Terminal in New Zealand is getting a NZD$10m (US$6.45m) upgrade aimed at increasing its shipping capacity and reducing its CO 2   footprint. Star Cement is planning to invest INR17,000-18,000m (US$218.9m-231.8m) over the next two years, in response to robust demand from the infrastructure and real estate sectors. ACC Ltd has commissioned 1.6Mta grinding capacity in Tikaria , Uttar Pradesh, India. Loma Negra inaugurates second line

Loma Negra (InterCement group) has inaugurated its new production line at the L'Amalí plant in Olavarría, Argentina. Together with national, provincial and municipal authorities, and the cement manufacturer’s customers and suppliers, the  second production line of L'Amalí, the largest cement plant in South America, was inaugurated on 6 December 2021. Its incorporation allows the company to increase cement production capacity by 40 per cent and create more than 160 new direct jobs.
