At present the price of a 50kg bag of cement is PYG42,000, but next year is expected to see the price fall to PYG35,000. INC awards International Materials clinker supply contract07 November 2014, Published under Cement NewsParaguayan state-owned cement company Industria Nacional del Cemento (INC) has awarded International Materials the contract to provide 60,000t of clinker. International Materials is based in the US, but this clinker shipment will come from Spain. The contract was scheduled to be signed this week it is hoped that the first deliveries of between 10,000t and 35,000t each will arrive in the first half of December 2014. |

However, the maintenance will not affect output, which will remain at 45,000-50,000 bags per day, according to CEO Jorge Méndez.
