South Korea-based Sun Cement Co Ltd has placed an order for a Loesche vertical roller grinding mill for granulated blast furnace slag. Polysius France SAS, part of Germany-based ThyssenKrupp, has been awarded the contract for the cement plant in Oum El Bouaghi by Société des Ciments de Sigus, part of Groupe Industriel des Ciments d’Algérie (GICA), according to local press reports. Dangote Cement in Tanzania awarded Tancoal Energy Ltd, part of Australia’s Intra Energy Corp Ltd, the contract for more than 150,000t of coal, which will be supplied over the course of next year.
