Carbon Re report assesses technologies for decarbonisation

Italy’s cement output declines 10% in November

Italian cement production fell by 10 per cent YoY in November 2022, according to the country’s construction chamber, Federbeton. When compared with the 2015 base index production the value declined from 102 in October to 85 in November. Hoffmann Green signs H-IONA deal in French market

Hoffmann Green has signed an agreement with materials trading specialist VM Matériaux making VM Matériaux the first distributor on mainland France of H-IONA carbon-free cement. The H-IONA technology developed by Hoffmann Green is a multi-purpose cement for concrete and mortar, with a carbon footprint five times lower than traditional Portland cement.
