Farouk Mostafa, Managing Director of Misr Beni Suef Cement (MBSC), revealed that the company is conducting a study of producing a new type of cement named Sea Water, which is characterised of high resistance of salt, water and sulphate.

He added that, such kind of cement used in all concrete works and buildings that exposed to salt and water as well as all kind of pipes made of concrete.

He stated that, cement market is facing recession in the shadow of inside an outside challenges that hit hard construction and real estate sectors which affected cement consumption.

He pointed out that his company is seeking to enhance cement exports as well as penetrating into new markets.
