Expansion of trade cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan was a major topic of a meeting of Sharif Said, the head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), with Pakistani delegation that took place here on July 19, according to the CCI press service. The Pakistani delegation members included Mr. Nazir Ahmed Peracha, director, Gharibwal Cement Ltd, Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Sambl, marketing and export manager, Shahpur Commerce (PVT) Ltd, and Mr. Humayun N. Sheikh, chairman, Azgard Nine Ltd. In the course of the talks, the CCI head briefed Pakistani entrepreneurs on priorities of Tajikistan’s economy, noting that Tajikistan had many undeveloped resources. Mr. Nazir Ahmed Peracha noted that he would like to arrange export of cement to Tajikistan.
