Beumer has been awarded the contract for six central chain bucket elevators and four belt bucket elevators by Loesche GmbH for a PT Semen Tonasa and Semen Gresik’s who are constructing new kiln lines at their respective plants.

Two central chain bucket elevators, with a bucket width of 400mm and height of 42.5 m each, will be installed as recirculating bucket elevators in the vertical Loesche mills, type LM 56.3+3, in the Tonasa plant. These central chain bucket elevators achieve a conveying capacity of 75tph. In addition, two high-capacity belt bucket elevators, having a height of 74m, a bucket width of 630mm and a conveying capacity of 315tph, will be installed for feeding the silos.

The Tuban plant will be equipped with two high-capacity belt bucket elevators, having a height of 69.5 m and a bucket width of 630 mm each, for the feeding of silos. The conveying capacity of each bucket elevator is 315 tons per hour. Two central chain bucket elevators with a height of 42.6 m each and a bucket width of 630 mm will be installed as recirculating bucket elevators in the vertical Loesche mills, type LM 56.3+3. The conveying capacity for recirculation and clinker transport is 400 tons per hour. Additionally, two central chain bucket elevators, having a height of 32.2m, will be installed for the transport of materials containing additives (400mm wide buckets, conveying capacity is 100tph). The material transported is a mixture of gypsum, trass and limestone. As the material has a high moisture content and is therefore subject to caking, the buckets are provided with rubber bottoms, easily allowing the material to be removed from the buckets.
