Peru’s overall cement production rose 3.78% in January to April to 2.17Mt, compared with 2.09Mt in the same period last year, the National Association of Cement Producers, or Asocem, said Friday.

Asocem said cement production totaled 524,640t in April this year, down from 551,888t in March.

Cement production in Peru has grown alongside the expanding economy, which grew by 9.8% last year.
