Russia’s Eurocement Group plans on June 26 to start building a cement plant in the Voronezh Region at a cost of over RUB10bn, a spokesperson for the regional government’s economic development department told Prime-Tass Friday.

The plant, which will be located in the region’s Podgorensky district, is expected to have an annual production capacity of about 2Mt.

The facility is expected to be launched by the beginning of 2010.
