About 100 jobs to be affected at Lehigh Cement. Some operations will stay in Lehigh Valley.

Lehigh Cement Co. plans to move its headquarters to Texas next year, a relocation that will affect about 100 jobs, or nearly half its local work force.

The company said Tuesday that the move to Dallas is part of a plan to integrate its operations with Hanson PLC, a British building materials company that Lehigh Cement’s parent purchased in August for US$15.8 bn.
