Cemex and Mexican housing developer Consorcio Ara have signed an agreement, through which the cement company sold an 89-hectare land in Puebla and will supply products at preferential prices. Ara’s Investor Relations Director, Jaime del Río, commented that works in this housing development, named Los Angeles, will begin the next year. The project involves a shopping center and 5300 medium and residential houses. The land sold by Cemex will be paid by Ara over the following years.
