Indonesia’s largest cement maker PT Semen Gresik’s nine months to September cement sales rose 5.6 per cent to 12.29Mt, driven by increased domestic sales.  Semen Gresik said it sold 10.83Mt in the local market during the nine-month period, up from 10.03Mt a year ago.  Its exports dropped 9.2 per cent to 1.46Mt from 1.61Mt after one of its three operating units, Semen Gresik suspended shipments overseas.  Semen Tonasa and Semen Padang saw their exports climb 7.1 per cent and 6.6 per cent, respectively.
