Turkish cement producer Cimsa increased its net profit by 169% YoY to TRL53.3m (US$39.4m) in the first half of 2005. 
 
The company’s net profit for the second quarter of 2005 went up by 152% QoQ to TRL15.1m (US$11.12m).  Cimsa sales revenue went up by 16.8% to TRL166.2m (US$122.43m). Domestic sales went up by 27% and exports went up by 14.8%. Exports accounted for 35% of Cimsa’s turnover. 
 
Total assets stood at TRL598.59m (US$440.95m), up from TRL580.02m (US$427.27m) at the end of 2004.
