Iran exported some 188,000t of cement, worth US$9.946m, during the first four months of current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2005).
According to Public Relations Department of Iran’s Mine House, the figure on export showed increases of 109.3 and 103 per cent in terms of weight and value respectively compared to the similar period the previous year. The average price for each tonne of Iran’s cement stood at US$53, the report said.

It added that Iran exported over 42,000t of cement, valued at US$2.4m  in the month of Tir (June 22-July 22).
