Eurocement, a leading Russian cement producer, today declared a success its adoption in April of new sales terms intended to increase transparency, lower costs and eliminate non-essential intermediaries from the construction market. The changes, requiring prepayment for cement deliveries, appear to be gaining broad support within the construction industry, Eurocement said, citing a survey by the internet portal Beton.Ru showing just 27 per cent of respondents displaying anxiety about the impact on construction.
