Peru’s overall cement sales in May fell a tiny 0.02 per cent to 401,846t from the 401,945t sold in the same month a year before, the National Association of Cement Producers, or Asocem, said Wednesday.  In the first five months of the year, cement sales totaled 1,940,261t, a 3.9 per cent increase from the same period a year earlier. Cementos Lima led the sales in May, selling 212,480t of cement, which includes 72,697t for export, the association said.
