Egypt’s cement output fell to 1.849Mt in November 2004 from 2.352Mt in October 2004, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said in a report.  Production of clinker inched up to 2.896Mt in November 2004 from 2.876Mt in the previous month.  Local cement sales decreased to 1.475Mt in November 2004 from 1.764Mt in October 2004, while cement exports dropped to 272,000t from 490,000t.
