The net profit of UAE Ras al-Khaimah Co for White Cement & Construction Materials surged 325.4 per cent YoY to AED40.2m (US$10.9m) in 2004. Earnings per share rose to AED0.086 (US$0.023) from AED0.02 (US$0.005). Sales grew 20 per cent to AED136.2m (US$37.1m), helped by the opening of new markets for the company’s products. Ras al-Khaimah Co for White Cement & Construction Materials reported shareholders’ equity of AED799m (US$217.6m) at end-2004, up from AED750m (US$204.2m) at end-2003, while total assets increased by AED53m (US$14.4m) to AED828.2m (US$225.5m).
