Zambian Home Affairs Minister, Ronnie Shikapwasha, has maintained that the deportation of Chilanga Cement managing director, Ian Coulter, is final.   Lieutenant-General Shikapwasha said there was no intention of reversing the decision as the move was made in national interest.  He reiterated in an interview in Lusaka that the Chilanga Cement chief executive was deported for security reasons.  Gen Shikapwasha, however, said Government was ready to work with anyone who would replace the former chief executive, adding that Government appreciated the company’s contributions to Zambia.  He said his ministry and Chilanga Cement management had a meeting where the deportation was explained.  The minister appealed to investors to take an interest and familiarise themselves with the Zambian laws to avoid being caught up.
