Viet Nam has so far this year produced more than 18Mt of cement, a year-on-year increase of 7.3 per cent. In September alone, cement plants turned out over 2Mt, meeting the domestic demand. The Viet Nam Cement Corporation (VNCC) shipped 2Mt of cement to southern provinces to stabilise local cement prices, which are forecast to remain stable from now to the year end. VNCC also announced that its affiliates will produce high-quality cement, PCB 40, beginning this month.
