Shareholders of the Pushka cement and slate plant (Kramatorsk, Donetsk region) changed the name of the enterprise to Kramatorsk Cement Plant Pushka at their extraordinary meeting on July 14. Pushka finished 2003 with net profits of UAH 0.827 million.
In 2003, its income increased by 14.9% or UAH 15.134 million to UAH 116.525million. The plant is capable of producing 580,000tpa of cement, and 300 million conventional slates a year. In 2004, the Inteko company (Russia) bought about 90 per cent of the shares in Pushka.
