In May, cement production rose by 14.2% or 139,000 tons compared with April.  In January-May, cement production rose by 34% or 933,000 tons compared with January-May 2003, to give a total output of 3,673,000 tons.  More than 15 enterprises produce cement in Ukraine, and their total annual capacity is more than 20Mt.
