Cemento Panama has opened a US$6.5m bulk cargo terminal at Bahia Las Minas port in Panama’s Colon province, the presidency reported.  Banco General and Citibank helped bankroll the terminal "Terminal Granelera Bahia Las Minas," which will move solid industrial materials, in particular clinker and other derived products.  Panama’s cement consumption is 890,000t/y, of which 48 per cent belongs to Cemento Panama, which belongs to Corporacion INCEM whose principal shareholders are Holcim and Cementos del Caribe.
