German cement maker Dyckerhoff AG said its supervisory board has named Wolfgang Bauer chairman from March 1, 2004, succeeding Peter Steiner. Bauer is currently chief financial officer of Dyckerhoff and his post will be taken by Stefan Fink, the company said. Michele Buzzi, a manager from Italy's Buzzi Unicem SpA which holds a 34 per cent stake in Dyckerhoff, will become a member of Dyckerhoff's management board from January 1, 2004 to improve cooperation, it added. Dyckerhoff's current chairman Steiner is leaving to become chief financial officer of MG Technologies AG.
