Claudius Peters Technologies have just launched a new generation of clinker coolers to improve efficiency and save on operating costs. The new cooler can be installed in new or existing lines, significantly enhancing cooler efficiency in terms of installation, cooling, clinker transport and maintenance. The new cooler also promotes the Claudius Peters concept of low maintenance and operational costs with fewer parts, particularly those that experience greater wear, and the new modular design, which minimises construction costs, or in the case of replacing an existing system, down time. Over the years, Claudius Peter have supplied more than 600 coolers and in 2003 Claudius Peters was the first cooler manufacturer to install coolers with design capacities of 12,000tpd.

Now under the ownership of UK Engineering Group, Langley Holdings, Claudius Peters has already secured its first order for the new cooler from Swiss firm HOLCIM Siggenthal, to replace an existing grate cooler. The new system is designed to increase the capacity of their existing line to 2000tpd with a potential to increase it further to 2300tpd.
