Loesche supplies Europe’s largest cement mill to Turkey

Nuryol Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS has chosen Loesche to supply mills for coal grinding, raw material and clinker grinding for the Turkish manufacturers new 4000tpd plant in Karasu, 150km east of Istanbul.
Loesche’s scope of supply includeds one Loesche Mill Type LM46.4 to grind raw material at a rate of 330tph and a fineness of 12% R90 u and a Loesche Mill Type LM 28.2 D to grind coal.

For cement grinding, Nuryol Cimento have selected a Loesche Mill Type LM63.3+3 including process filter and fan. The mill is designed to grind OPC with a capacity of 240tph at a fineness of 3800cm2/g according to Blaine.

Loesche said in a statement that the new cement mill represents the largest vertical roller mill for cement grinding in Turkey as well as in Europe. It will have a table diameter of 6.3m and be driven by a motor with a rated capacity of 7200kW.

Project execution and coordination will be carried out by SINTEK Mining Machinery Industry Construction which is based in Ankara.
