Pakistan cement exports in the first quarter of the current fiscal rose in value terms YoY but in quantity terms volumes are still declining, according to data from Pakistan’s Bureau of Statistics.
During the period from July-September 2012, US$146.321m worth of cement was exported which was up by 42.35 per cent compared to the same period of last year. However, in terms of quantity, exports totalled 1,899,791t in the first quarter of FY13 compared to 2,158,429t in the first quarter of FY12, a YoY decline of 13.5 per cent.
