Iran produced 53.16Mt in the first nine months of the current Iranian year (beginning 20 March 2012), representing a 5.85 per cent increase on the 51.65Mt produced in the same period of last year.
The country produced 53.39Mt of clinker over the same period, 5.8 per cent higher than the 50.46Mt manufactured in the first nine months of the previous year.
Exports of cement and clinker over the nine month period amounted to 10.45Mt (comprising 9.28Mt of cement and 1,17Mt of clinker) achieving YoY gains of 32 and 25 per cent, respectively.
During the month of Azar (20 November-20 December), 5.68Mt and 4.76Mt of clinker and cement were produced, respectively.
