thyssenkrupp has won a contract from LafargeHolcim to supply a 3500tpd line for a new clinker plant in Souss Massa, Morocco. The project will include engineering, procurement and construction for the entire clinker line.

Both companies share the same vision: we provide state-of-the-art technology and develop tailor-made solutions for our customers", said Frank Ruoss, CEO of the Cement Technologies business unit, thyssenkrupp.
The main components of the project include a 1000tph primary crusher, a longitudinal additives storage facility, a 12,000t circular stockpile, a 290tph Quadropol QMR2 roller mill and a blending silo with a 4600t capacity. The pyroprocessing system consists of a five-stage, single-string Polysius preheater tower, a two-pier rotary kiln and a Polytrack cooler. Finally, there is a ball mill for solid combustibles and a 65,000t clinker stock. The company will also provide a grinding facility for solid fuels.
The plant is scheduled for start-up in the first half of 2020.
