In the first quarter of 2018, Russian cement companies supplied 4.43Mt of cement to their customers by rail.
EuroCement Group accounted for a 34.5 per cent share of this total, down from 37.5 per cent the previous year, according to Esmerk Russian News.
The top five suppliers by rail transport are Novoroscement with 405,950t (+18.3 per cent), South Ural Mining And Processing Company with 348,500t (+35.4 per cent), Mordovcement with 338,250t (-25.8 per cent), Sukholozhskcement with 295,220t (+7.7 per cent), and Topkinskiy Cement with 277,780t (+5.3 per cent).
Considerable gains in deliveries were reported by Teploozerskiy Cement Plant (6.3-fold growth), as well as Kransoyarsk Cement (2.9-fold), PeterburgCement (2.2-fold), Serebryansky cement plant (+50.8 per cent) and Gornozavodskcement (+49.6 per cent). Reductions in deliveries were noted by Novotroitsk cement plant (-56.2 per cent), as well as Spasskcement (-48.8 per cent), Katav Cement (-48.7 per cent), Pikalevsky cement (-47.5 per cent) and HeidelbergCement RUS (Novogurovskiy, -46.8 per cent).
