Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has approved a ban on the import of clinker originating from the Russian Federation. The decree was developed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine to protect the interests of national economic security and Ukrainian cement producers, according to the government portal.
"The introduction of cement clinker in the list of goods prohibited for import is carried out within the policy of economic counteraction to discriminatory actions against Ukraine by the aggressor state," reads a statement posted on the site.
