China National Heavy Machinery Corp win Confidence Cement order

Confidence Cement Dhaka Ltd, an associate of Confidence Cement Ltd, has signed an EP Contract with the China National Heavy Machinery Corporation (CHMC). The contract incudes the supply and delivery of necessary machines/equipment with accessories for a cement mill (VRM) to produce 280tph PCC. The order will consist of the unloading of raw materials to dispatch of bagged/bulk cement, including supervision and commissioning along with related auxiliaries and technical assistance during installation and commissioning of the plant at the existing site in southern Bangladesh.

Company Secretary, Delowar Hossain, said that the Board of Directors of Confidence Cement Ltd agreed and approved the EP contract between Confidence Cement Dhaka Ltd and the China National Heavy Machinery Corporation (CHMC) in its meeting held on 24 September 2018.

Imran Karim, vice chairman of the CCDL, and Jin Renzhe, vice president of CHMC, have signed the contract on behalf of their respective organisations, according to a statement.

Confidence Cement has a production capacity of 750,000tpa at Madambibirhat, Bhatiary, Sitakunda in Chittagong.
