Fives supplies TSV™ classifier to Romanian gypsum plant

Belgium's Etex Building Performances, specialised in the production of plaster-based products, selected Fives for the modernisation of its calcined gypsum grinding unit, which was initially located in Bucharest and has now been transferred to its Aghires plant.

As such, Fives provided Etex with a FCB TSV™ 1600 MF classifier to close the existing open circuit, with the commissioning of the unit performed from 22-25 January 2019.

The classifier is already achieving a low global bypass and a high cumulative output in fines. Thus, Etex has confirmed the ability of Fives technologies in plaster classification, a sticky product particularly difficult to process.
