SGS Industrial Services selected for Airvault modernisation project

SGS Industrial Services GmbH has been commissioned by thyssenkrupp Polysius with the mechanical and electrical assembly of a new 4000tpd clinker production plant. The plant will be built at Ciments Calcia (Heidelberg Materials) in Airvault, France. The new state-of-the-art plant will replace two old production lines after commissioning. 

SGS Industrial Services’s order includes approximately 6800t of steel structures, approximately 8600t of equipment and 660km of cables. To carry out the assembly work quickly, globally, and safely as usual, the SGS Industrial Services’ team will be on site at peak times with up to 300 employees. The construction period is estimated at 16 months.
