PCA add new Board member

Simon Bates, CEO of Argos USA, is the newest member of Portland Cement Association’s (PCA) Board of Directors. Simon took the reins at Argos USA late last year, bringing to the position 33 years of industry experience. He has said that his primary goal is to promote housing and infrastructure projects that allow for more sustainable, prosperous and inclusive societies in the US, which is a goal that falls squarely in line with PCA’s objectives.     

Meanwhile, Ruben Guerrer, Jr, has been promoted to CEO of Salt River Materials Group (SRMG). Ruben has ascended to this role after serving as SRMG’s Director of Corporate Affairs since July of 2013.  Ruben is a valued member of PCA’s Government Affairs Committee, the  PCA's Environment and Energy Committee, and recently served as Co-Chair of PCA’s Industry Communications Committee.
