Cement sales in Puerto Rico slipped by 0.8 per cent to 14.6m bags in 2024, according to the Economic Development Bank (DBE). In 2023 cement sales increased by 1.3 per cent following a 6.8 per cent fall in 2022. 

Cement production fell 9.1 per cent YoY in 2024 to 8.2m bags, representing the first fall in three years. In 2023 cement output increased 8.6 per cent.
