The Khayah Harare Cement plant in Manresa is preparing to resume full production and is undergoing a significant refurbishment. Robtek’s scope of work includes replacing 10 planetary coolers, installing 23m of kiln shell sections and refurbishing eight support rollers.
Furthermore, the raw mill will have its trunnion bearings replaced and its bearings will be overhauled, while the internal diaphragm and head wall liners will be upgraded.
In addition, a new double-flap valve will be installed to replace the star feeder.
